Full Stack Developer (remote)

Who are we?

Pointerpro is an ambitious software company which was included 3 times in the Deloitte Fast 50, an annual selection of the 50 fastest growing Belgian technology companies.

We develop and commercialize a unique tool to create engaging online assessments and personalized reports. 

Our goal is to accelerate the digitization of consultancy companies worldwide with these automatic, tailor-made advisory reports.

With customers like AstraZeneca, CapGemini, BNP Paribas, KBC, New York Life, Deloitte, and many more, our customer base is already spread over 56 different countries. But this only means there are 140 countries left worldwide to touch base, and we’re going for it!



What will you do?

As a full stack developer you will be responsible for implementing new features and improving existing features within various components of our platform.

Our main tech stack for the various components of our platform consist out of:

    VueJS

    BackboneJS 

All of our components are kept up to date with latest versions! (yes, we update our dependencies)

    Adding a configuration screen for a new question type

    Adding a new module for advanced reporting of assessment results

    Implementing improvements to the question editor based on user feedback

    Implementing a new API endpoint

Additionally, you will play a significant role in extending our e2e test coverage and you will conduct code reviews with your fellow team members. You will be an active and direct contributor to the product strategy and growth.

 

What do you bring to the table?

No doubt you know your way around code. But let’s dig a bit deeper into the various technical skills you’ll need.

    Minimum 3 years of experience with at least 2 out of 3 frameworks that we use on a daily basis
  • bullet orange 150x150 1

    Experience with CI/CD workflows and it’s characteristics
  • bullet orange 150x150 1

    Experience with performing code reviews
  • bullet orange 150x150 1

    You know what it is like to work in an agile software development environment
  • bullet orange 150x150 1

    Experience with e2e testing. Protractor (phasing out) and Cypress are not new for you

    User experience is a big priority for us, so affinity with UX is welcome

    You have a top level of GIT mastery
